Healthy Gummy Snacks

These easy gummy snacks are a favorite around the house. They are made of grass-fed gelatin, fruit juice and a bit of raw honey for sweetness. Store bought gummies might be tasty and delicious, but they are filled with sugar, natural flavors, glucose syrup, starch, and food coloring. Not an ideal ingredients list for a green mama.

Why Grass-fed Gelatin?

Grass-fed gelatin is perfect for building healthy joints, skin, nails and hair. Gelatin contains many amino-acids, the building blocks in protein, these amino acids help to keep our skin and bones healthy. Gelatin is a great source of collagen so if you’re a mama that loves expensive creams with collagen, a better way to get collagen and get those wrinkles under control is to consume collagen internally.

We all have heard of the great benefits of bone broths, how bone broth can heal the gut and so on. The only issue is not all kids like to drink bone broth BUT they sure love gummy bears. This is an easy way to add those same benefits of bone broth through a sneaky little gummy treat.

This recipe is quick to make and the end result is pretty darn good, you can make any flavor strawberry, raspberry, blueberry they all taste delicious. Give this recipe a try, your kids will love it! I find myself snacking on these gummy treats all the time.
